Chef Appearances

For a full Chef Experience, it is our preference to deliver courses that start from 5 and move up to as many as 12. We are however flexible enough to accommodate our client's request which come within our reasonable achievement.

4 Courses - $250 pp

Cancellation Policy

     

Cancellation Policies are as follows: 

  1. Cancellation made 7 days prior to the event: 80% of the sum shall
    be refunded.
     
  2. 4 Days prior to event date: 50% of paid fees shall be refunded.
     
  3. 72hrs prior, The Chef would be unable to make any refunds.

Additional Booking Terms and Information

  1. The Client shall communicate any changes to number of guests no later than 72hrs prior to the event. Where the Chef accommodates more guests than booked for, amendments to the quoted contracted sum shall be made.
  2. Where the guests at the event are less than booked, the Chef shall not make any refunds for absent guests.
  3. The parties shall agree on a menu to be served during the contracted period. Due to market availability, we may need to make substitutions. The Chef will notify the Client when such substitutions have been made. The Chef will always do it’s best to comply with the Client’s requests.
  4. The Chef shall provide the food service along with an assistant provided by the Chef.
  5. Service shall be served at a time agreed by the parties in the order in which the Chef has curated the menu. Where the Chef has been contracted for a certain time and day, the Client will be responsible for payment beyond the time and day contracted for.
  6. The Client agrees to provide a workable kitchen space with running portable tap water, crockery, reasonable kitchen equipment, gas or electric cooking range and oven, service tables, electricity and refrigeration and any other requirements discussed prior as well as adequate toilet facilities for the Chef’s team. The Client shall also provide immediate trouble shooting and resolution of faulty equipment.
  7. The Client agrees to Pay the sum of as contracted with exception to an increase in number of guests, time and days. This sum is exclusive of the cost of groceries. Payment shall be made to the account provided in the accompanying invoice.
  8. Upon finalization of the menu, the Chef shall provide a cost for groceries and send an invoice for the purchase. The Client shall make provision for the grocery sum no later than 5 days prior to contractual date.
  9. The Chef shall receive 70% of the agreed fees as soon as the Chef is booked and no later than 10 days prior to the event. The balance payment shall be received within 24hrs of the event date.  Chef shall not perform the services if payment is not received. 
  10. Cancellation Policies are as follows:
    1. Cancellation made 7 days prior to the event: 60% of the sum deposited shall be refunded.
    2. 4 Days prior to event date: 40% of paid fees shall be refunded.
    3. 72hrs prior, The Chef would be unable to make any refunds.

12. The Chef shall not be responsible for the inability to provide food or other services due to inclement weather, city shutdowns, fire, acts of God or other technical circumstances beyond our control.

13. Allergy/Medical Disclaimer: While the Chef shall utilize highest food safety standards, any food can give a Client an allergic reaction ranging from mild to life threatening reactions. It is important to disclose any known allergies prior to the event. It is the responsibility of the Client to communicate the menu to all parties and alert the Chef of known allergies.The Chef is not responsible for any Client or guests allergic/ medical reactions that weren’t disclosed or known prior to the event and consumption of foods.
